What the reading covers

A natal chart is a map of the sky at the moment and place you were born. It describes your nature: your gifts, your strengths, and the way you naturally think, feel and act. This reading is written for people who want to understand themselves more deeply.

I begin with your main chart, the D1, and read every planet through its sign, house and nakshatra. The sign shows how a planet expresses itself, the house shows the area of life where it acts, and the nakshatra shows the finer detail of its nature. Each planet governs something specific: the Sun your sense of self, the Moon your mind and emotions, Mars your drive, Venus how you love and what you value, and so on. I then read the twelve houses in order and draw out the patterns that run through your life.

Alongside the D1, I study your D9, the navamsa, and other divisional charts. The D9 shows the deeper strength of each planet and changes how the D1 should be read, so it shapes the whole interpretation. The written reading stays focused on your natal chart and goes into it in depth. Every technical term is explained, so no prior knowledge is needed.

The reading also covers soul-level indicators such as your atmakaraka, the planet that points to your soul’s central lesson in this life, as well as your darakaraka, which gives insight into your spouse and close relationships. Themes of karma and past lives are included when relevant to the reading. The focus throughout is understanding yourself at the root.

Common questions

What birth details do you need?

Your date of birth, the most exact birth time you can find, and your city of birth. A time taken from a birth certificate or hospital record is best, because the ascendant and houses depend on it.

What if I do not know my exact birth time?

Send what you know and say how sure you are. The planets by sign and nakshatra remain reliable without an exact time, while the ascendant and houses do not, so I will tell you plainly what can and cannot be read with confidence before any work begins.

Why might my Vedic chart look different from the one I already know?

Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, which aligns the signs with the constellations, while Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, which is tied to the seasons. The difference is currently about twenty-four degrees, so many of your placements may move back by one sign. The reading explains the framework as it goes.

Is my information kept private?
